Calling Tara From the Heart
Calling Tara From The Heart is a profoundly moving dance meditation. Based on a mind treasure featuring the most powerful Tibetan Buddhist reflections, coupled with the enchanting and powerful music of Mercedes Bahleda, it is a deeply devotional experience of powerful energies and awakenings.
Dancing our prayers helps us to integrate all the aspects of our life’s experience into a spiritual journey of awakening. Dancing in the atmosphere of the enlightened feminine we use simple techniques
that have powerful gifts. Each session of this weekend workshop introduces us to a joyful method of cultivating the tools we need to make the most of this human adventure.
Session 1, Saturday Morning, introduces us to the method and the view….waking up the body mind, orienting our human journey towards realization and the light.
Session 2 – Saturday afternoon we explore the qualities of our awakened feminine nature, developing a close relationship with our inner being as the divine Goddess. We explore the power of mantra and mudra combined with mindful movement and meditation.
Session 3 – Sunday morning – we examine our inner commitment to awakening, letting go of whatever holds us back, our guilt and our fears, our confusion and doubt, dancing into the light.
Session 4 – Sunday afternoon – we generate abundance, increasing our wisdom, wealth, energy, compassion and skill, celebrating the gifts of our lives
4:30 Pm – A celebration, a feast offering, putting together the dances in a method that leads us step by step into the blissful experience of awakening. Please bring a vegetarian food or drink offering for the feast offering.
